ALL SALES ARE FINAL

TATTOOS: DEPENDING ON SESSION BOOKED, A $100 or $200 MINIMUM NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-TRANSFERABLE DEPOSIT WILL BE COLLECTED FOR TATTOO APPOINTMENTS. DEPOSITS ARE APPLIED TO THE FINAL COST OF YOUR TATTOO. 

APPOINTMENT & DEPOSIT CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY:
DEPOSITS ARE STILL AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE! 

A FOURTEEN (14) DAY (336 HOURS) NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO CANCEL OR CHANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT AND NOT FORFEIT DEPOSIT - ANY REMAINING DEPOSIT WILL BE APPLIED TOWARDS REBOOKING APPOINTMENT- IF YOU FORFEIT DEPOSIT, ANOTHER NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WILL NEED TO BE MADE TO BOOK ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. 

YOU MUST MAKE DIRECT CONTACT WITH YOUR ARTIST IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL.

IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 30 MINUTES LATE FOR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT,

DEPOSIT AND APPOINTMENT MAY BE FORFEITED.

FOR VISUAL ART PIECES: PAYMENT UPFRONT IS REQUIRED, UNLESS SIGNED CONTRACT IS MADE, THEN DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AND NON-REFUNDABLE. DEPOSIT IS APPLIED TO THE FINAL COST OF ARTWORK UPON PICKING-UP OR BEFORE DELIVERY CAN BE MADE.

OFF-SITE COMMERCIAL/RESIDENTIAL PIECES: DEPOSITS ARE REQUIRED AND NON-REFUNDABLE. DEPOSIT WILL BE APPLIED TO THE BALANCE THE DAY SERVICES ARE RENDERED, REMAINING BALANCE IS DUE SAME DAY SERVICE IS COMPLETED.

WALK-INS:
WE DO NOT DO WALK-INS. PROPER TIME IS NEEDED TO PREPARE ARTWORK AND COORDINATE SCHEDULES AND DISCUSS IDEAS WITH AN ARTIST FIRST DURING A FREE CONSULTATION. DO NOT WANT TO GIVE ANY HALF-ASSED, RUSHED ARTWORK! BE PATIENT AND KIND! 

PRICING:
WE PRICE BY PIECE, NO TWO QUOTES MAY BE ALIKE. THE PRICE OF A TATTOO IS OFTEN DEPENDENT ON THE DESIGN/SIZE/PLACEMENT OF THE TATTOO. ONCE YOU AND YOUR ARTIST HAVE DISCUSSED WHAT YOU'D LIKE, THEY WILL PROVIDE AN INDIVIDUALIZED QUOTE FOR YOUR TATTOO. 
 STUDIO'S MINIMUM IS $60. IF YOU INSIST TO PAY BY THE HOUR THE RATE IS $150.

 

 

THERE IS A LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT THAT GOES INTO THE DESIGNS, PREPARATIONS, FREE CONSULTATIONS AND BOOKING OF APPOINTMENTS, IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP OR DO A LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT, THAT IS AN APPOINTMENT LOST FOR OUR ARTISTS.

WITH COVID CRISIS DO NOT BOOK UNNECESSARY APPOINTMENTS KNOWINGLY.

MUSE STUDIO RESERVES THE RIGHT REFUSE SERVICE FOR ANY REASON AND TO CHARGE CANCELATION/REBOOK FEES.

TATTOO PREPARATION

​

  1. Be hydrated. Drink at least 1-2 liters of water a day before and after tattoo. Hydrated skin promotes healing.

  2. Lotion the area to be tattooed 1-2 times every day, the healthier your skin, the better results.

  3. Exfoliate the area 1-3 times weekly with a loofah or body scrub.

  4. Please a decent solid meal 1-2 hours BEFORE session. This is a massive workout for your body and it needs fuel for a big session. When you are hungry, pain management is much more difficult.

  5. No tanning, fake tanning, chemical peels, sunburns, major cuts or scrapes, in the area to be tattooed within a month prior to your session. Damaged skin won’t heal properly.​ Fake Tanning and Sun-baking are bad for your skin, tattoos and could cause skin cancer, please always avoid or use sunscreen religiously!

TATTOO DAY

  1. Get a good night sleep the night before. Please don’t party, getting tattooed hung-over is not fun for you or your artist. Alcohol also thins blood, please hold-off before and after! 

  2. Shave the entire area and surrounding areas to be tattooed, no worries your artist will clean up what you miss.

  3. Please do not the entire family or the crew unless they are also getting tattooed. The preference is you come alone. This will eliminate you and the artist from being distracted. You want 100% of the artist attention and ability instead of entertaining and worrying about your tag-along. DO NOT BRING ANY CHILDREN! 

  4. Bring drinks (suggest water), candy (good for blood sugar), fruit, snacks and/or a bagged lunch. You won’t have enough time during short breaks to leave, so bring it with you.

  5. Dress comfortably and appropriately, with accessible, dark colored clothing. Be prepared for it to be cold & warm.

  6. Also bring socks or flip flops to prevent walking around the studio barefoot during breaks, since most take off shoes during session for comfort and to prevent extra wear-and-tare on procedure chair.

  7. You are also invited to bring your own pillow for laying or sitting on during procedure. Wash when you get home.

  8. Bring some form of entertainment for yourself like an IPAD and headphones.

  9. Please do not schedule something immediately after your tattoo...in case we are running behind.

DURING TATTOO

  1. Please be aware of cross contamination. Do not touch your fresh tattoo during your session. Do not let anyone else touch your tattoo either!

  2. Be mindful and do not touch any other possibly contaminated areas. Wash hands before, during and after procedure. 

  3. Do not touch any of the tattoo equipment.

  4. Talking is fine during you session, but please do not talk with your hands, nod your head, or excessively move other body parts as this can cause the area being tattooed to move as well. Steady controlled zen-like breathing exercising will help keep you calm.
